A REAL ADVENTURE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL TREKKERS
Day 01: Rinjani Trek Center Sembalun – Sembalun Rim.
After registration at rinjani trek center sembalun -3790 feet (86 miles from the capital city of Lombok mataram to the east, visit the seismograph center to learn about the volcano, it’s the caldera and the center lake segara anak, start walking trought the grassland up to the resting point pemantauan (4318 feet ). Ascend to post 2 tangengean (4918 feet), enjoying the expansive views of the summit, continued to post 3 pada bolong (5980 feet) where we start for a three and half climb along the steep trail to pelawangan 2 sembalun crater rim (8652). Overnight. L, D
Day 02: Sembalun Rim – Summit – The Crater Lake
At 3 am leave the cam site sembalun rim for the three –hours ascent to the summit (12 216 feet). After enjoying a proud feeling of satisfaction and the great views of the character lake, return to the rim. Start to descend for a couple hours down to the Crater Lake segara anak (6557) the rest of the day is spent in relaxing, swimming in the Crater Lake, or visiting the hot springs which are said to have healing powers. B, L, D. should you decide not to ascend the summit, you may stay here waiting the rest of the group returning from the top to descend down to the crater lake camp site segara anak, while enjoying the magnificent views of the crater lake and the new soaring volcano “baru jari “
Day 03: The Creater Lake – Plawangan 1crater Rim Senaru – RTC Senaru
After early breakfast, leave the Crater Lake on the three – hour’s ascent to plawangan 1 senaru rim (8659 feet). After viewing the Crater Lake from the other side, descend along the six- hors trail down to rinjani trek center senaru (1970 feet) to the north. B, L.
